Action Man!

Today I dressed up Beck in my Ohio State Buckeyes onesie. I wanted to make sure that my brother knew who his favorite team was going to be. Dad said this was OK because you "gotta groom them early or they"ll go astray like your cousin Seth, the Wolverine." Dad says the only thing good about Wolverines is that movie Red Dawn, but I don't think I've seen that one yet.

Beck Update

Pop and Abia were here for a visit after Beck was born. I missed them after they left. That Pop is silly. Beck has been growing bigger everyday. He's real cute and I think that he likes me because he smiles at me a lot. When it was time for Beck's first bath, I took one too. That's what brother's do for each other.

I was on a boat today. What'd you do?

So, today after Mom and I went to the Zoo (where we rode the Zoo Train down to Washington Park), Dad and I joined our friends, Steve and Laurie, on his boat for a tour of the Willamette River in downtown Portland. It was pretty cool. Here are pictures of some of the things we saw!

Today Dad and I [and Shelby] went on a fun hike up in Forest Park, ate our lunch in another cool park under a bridge where dad wants to do a festival, then we stopped by dad's work where I played a really fun monster truck game on the computer with my friend, Tabytha, but I couldn't get over that one hill at the end and that made me mad. Dad wasn't supposed to be at work anyway. That dumb game.

Mom & Beck Come Home Today!!

Thursday, May 17 - Morning
I'm so excited. Today, Mom and Beck get to come home from the hospital so we can be a family again. I can't wait!!!! Mom sent me this video this morning - check it out!



Thursday, May 17 - Afternoon
OK, it took the doctors and nurses about a gajillion times longer than it should have to get us out of here, and I missed the new Diego on tv, but we did it! We're in the car and on our way home!

Beck - Day 2. This new guy isn't so bad.

So I got to the hospital today and spent some time with my new little brother, Beck. He's not so bad, although I can't figure out why he doesn't talk to anyone. Anyway, I gave him my ducky. I won it at the Cinco de Mayo Festival at the Waterfront last weekend. That place was filled with crazy tweakers, by-the-way. They were EVERYWHERE! I don't know why Dad took me down there, but whatever, I won that duck thingy so I gave it to Beck. I think he likes it. Maybe he'll actually tell me sometime, but I'm not holding my breath...

These other pictures are of my friend, Scott, who brought my Mom ice cream last night; and of Dad. Dad told me that he was the doctor that delivered Beck, but I didn't believe him, but pictures never lie so I guess I have to believe him this time. Way to go, Dad! You're my best fwend in my whole life!

My new baby brother, Beck Wilson

As of 11:51am this morning I am the proud big brother of Beck Wilson Mastrine. Mom kept saying, "that boy is big!" and Dad kept saying "that kid's got big balls!" but I didn't see any balls around there so I don't know what he was talking about. Silly Dad...

Mom and Dad told me some number things that didn't make any sense but here they are anyway.

Mom is doing fine, and so is Baby Beck. I'm glad Grandma is staying with me and Shelby tonight, but I miss Mom and Dad.

My first day of School

I started at Hummingbird School the first week of May. It's so fun and I love it. I'm doing alot of art projects, playing outside, and playing with a marble run game that is so cool. Mom and Dad took me to school today!

Spring 2007

We've been having a good Spring. Mom is having my new baby brother soon. I'm very excited...nervous, maybe a little anxious, but I'm sure it'll be great once he's here. I can't really imagine what it's going to be like, but I'll find out soon. Our family is growing and we're all really happy.
Laura came for a visit this spring, and we also celebrated Shelby's 12th birthday. She had a turkey meat with cream cheese icing cake. I helped Dad paint my room and he said that it was one of the longest paint jobs he ever had, but that I was a great helper.

My Camera

Grandma got me a new digital camera for Christmas. It's SO COOL!! I've been taking pictures of all this cool stuff like Pop & Abia's air vent, some cars, our Christmas tree, my feet, and oh yeah, my toys!! Thanks for getting me this camera, Grandma!

Portland Snowstorm January 2007

We hardly ever get snow in Portland, but we had a great, big storm hit us and it was awesome. Charlie came over to play and we had so much fun. Too bad the snow had to melt.

I got Baptized

Hey, I almost forgot to share some pictures of when I got baptized at Christmas in New Jersey. It was really cool. Nathan, my uncle, perfomed the ceremony and sprinkled water over my head. Lots of my family were there to share in the baptism too. My Mom and Dad told me that it meant that I was blessed by God and that God is my buddy and I can talk to him and he'll be there for me. I think that's really cool.

Christmas 2006

We spent Christmas in New Jersey visiting my family. Everyone was there, including Grandma from Ohio. We all stayed at Pop and Abia's house and Christmas morning was great. I got LOTS of presents. It was great to spend time with my cousins too. I love them and the weather was nice so we got to go on a hike and spend time in Philly, but I was bummed that there was no sledding this time. I did get to eat some cheesesteak though, which was very delicious.
